Antioquia’s MANÁ office manages complex nutrition programs serving over 125 municipalities across the region. To coordinate data collection, early detection of nutritional risks, and program delivery, they needed a technology platform capable of centralizing information at scale.

Heinsohn developed SISMANA, a web-based nutritional surveillance system that aggregates data from all 125 municipalities, enabling authorities to identify risk patterns, issue early warnings, and activate targeted intervention programs.

The platform supports two flagship initiatives — Arrullos Antioquia, focused on maternal and infant nutrition, and MANÁ Infantil, which ensures nutritional assistance reaches vulnerable children directly.

By transforming fragmented local data into a unified intelligence layer, SISMANA allows decision-makers to move from reactive response to proactive prevention — protecting the most vulnerable populations across Antioquia’s territory.

Outcome: A centralized and scalable nutritional surveillance platform that strengthens early warning capabilities, improves territorial decision-making, and supports public programs designed to protect vulnerable children and families across Antioquia.

Located in Laie, Hawaii, the Polynesian Cultural Center is one of Hawaii’s most visited attractions, welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Beyond tourism, its mission is deeply tied to cultural preservation and funding education for students from across Polynesia who study at the adjacent Brigham Young University–Hawaii.

Heinsohn developed a mobile application that gives visitors a complete digital companion for their experience — from interactive maps and real-time event schedules to reservation management and ticketing.

The app was designed to reduce friction at every stage of the visit: helping guests plan before they arrive, navigate during their time at the center, and manage purchases and reservations seamlessly.

By digitizing the visitor journey, the Polynesian Cultural Center strengthened its ability to deliver an exceptional experience while reinforcing its mission of cultural education and preservation.

Outcome: A more intuitive, connected, and accessible visitor experience, supported by a digital solution designed to guide guests before and during their visit.

The RUNT (Registro Único Nacional de Tránsito) is Colombia’s central platform for all transportation-related registrations, certifications, and procedures. It connects citizens, government entities, transit authorities, and private organizations into a single national system.

The scale of the platform is significant: 12.9 million registered users, 285 transit authorities, 4,391 organizations, and a transaction volume of 94,000 operations per day — with peaks of 2,000 to 8,000 concurrent users.

Heinsohn built and maintained the core technology infrastructure supporting RUNT, ensuring the system could handle high availability requirements, concurrent load, and the stringent security standards required for a national registry of this nature.

The platform enables procedures ranging from vehicle registration and driver’s license management to insurance validation and transit authority reporting — serving as the backbone of Colombia’s national mobility infrastructure.
